LHL Human Rights Working Group with Yahoo is concentrating on the issue of street children as of 11/4/05.
This list is available to those who wish to work on the human rights issue of street children, the rights that should keep them with an intact family in the first place, that should protect them from illegal treatment, from being murdered, and that should provide them with alternative shelter when necessary.
The Human Rights Working Group (LHLHRWG) uses a Yahoo Groups site to house their working documents and to communicate for business. In turn the LHLHRWG sends its work to the LHL-Info list for the entire coalition to use.

The LHL Human Rights Working Group in 2004 had the following as objectives:
- Circulates human rights reports from LHL members organizations as broadly as possible and get them posted or linked to LHL member websites.
- Broadens audience for human rights in Haiti through topical foci, ie: political prisoners, women.
- Meets with mainstream human rights organizations with evidence, reports to encourage them to report on all abuses occurring.
- Develops initiatives to affect the human rights situation on the ground in Haiti including developing a material assistance component.
- Participates in activities of the One Standard campaign for Haitian refugees, including the case of David Joseph.
